Jesus (pbuh) said, he can do NOTHING of himself (John 5:19). Jesus (pbuh) said that “all power is GIVEN unto me.” Acts 2:22 says that God performed wonders and miracles through Jesus (pbuh). Therefore God is the source of power. He is the electric company which provides power. Jesus (pbuh) merely turned on the light switch. Both the power and Jesus (pbuh) are tools used by God to convey his message to mankind. Therefore all praise is due to the power source (God), not the vessel by which the power came.
