 Did you know that every 7 years every atom of your body is replaced with other atoms? If every part of our body is a replacement then how are we the same people? If you change every part, nut and bolt of your car, is it the same car? No, it is a different car, rebuilt to look like the original. The reason that we are the same after 7 years is because our souls have not been replaced. Our soul is our true selves. And our souls, as immaterial entities, are a proof of the immaterial Creator. This soul is directly from God into man to produce life. This is why you can put together every part of a human being, like Dr. Frankenstein, but you will not be able to give this body life. This life is a gift of God. When we put all of these things into perspective, it is apparent that we are put on this earth for a reason and a purpose. God has set a stage, this planet, and he has given us a vehicle, our body, to travel and experience this life, but why?
Our purpose is to be just rulers of this world. We are to be righteous beings, in our dealings with each other and in our management of nature and everything in our grasp. Being righteous is a great form of worship to God. And God implants in our soul an inclination towards righteousness. God starts man off with a clean slate, a clear path and a conscience, as a compass, to guide him towards what is right and God, throughout history, sends exemplary figures to demonstrate the proper path towards his service. And who can better address man’s problems than God the maker of man and of man’s circumstances? |
