MUSLIMS IN THE BIBLE

In the Jewish Torah, we find out how the prophets prayed.

Genesis 24:52 And it came to pass, that, when Abraham's servant heard their words, he bowed himself down to the earth unto HaShem.

Genesis 17:3 And Abraham fell on his face…

Exodus 34:8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his headtoward the earth, and worshipped.

Numbers 16:22 And they (Moses and Aaron) fell upon their faces

Numbers 20:6 And they (Moses and Aaron) fell upon their faces

If one were to look for the form of worship which the Prophets of the of Jewish Torah performed, there is no doubt that it has a glaring similitude with the form of worship which 1.8 billion Muslims perform 5 times a day. Even the preparation which Muslims perform before worshipping God is to be found in the Jewish Torah.

Exodus 40:31-32 that Moses and Aaron and his sons might wash their hands and their feet thereat; when they went into the tent of meeting, and when they came near unto the altar, they should wash; as HaShem commanded Moses.

If we venture deeper into the Hebrew and even the Christian Scripture, we find:

Joshua 5:14 And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship...

1Kings 18:42 And he (Elijah) cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees.

Matthew 26:39 And he (Jesus) went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed...

The universal Muslim greeting to one another is As-Salamu Alaikum, meaning “Peace be unto you.” The words "Sholom Aleichem" in Hebrew also means “Peace be with you.” And they sound almost identical to the Arabic salutation that all Muslims use. And this greeting is found on the lips of others in the Bible.

Genesis 43:23 (Joseph’s steward) But he answered: Peace be with you

Judges 6:23 And HaShem said unto him: 'Peace be unto thee

1Samuel 25:6 (David tells his messengers) …and thus ye shall say: All hail! and peace be both unto thee

1Chronicles 12:18 (the Spirit of God to David) …peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thy helpers…

And Jesus (pbuh) greeted his disciples “Peace to you!” (John 20:19, 20:21, 20:26). It has been said that when a Christian or Jew becomes a Muslims that he has become a better Christian or Jew because he or she more closely follows the examples of the prophets sent by God.
